• A New Member Announced !   13L would like to welcome Chris Osborne as a new member. Chris now joins current members Scott Derrick, Don Jacobson, Jeffrey Vargas, Mike O'Leary, Patricia Armstong, Gail Williams, Kitty Wooley, Renita Bivins, and Pam Piper. Welcome aboard to Chris!
   
• A Reach-Out to Prospective Members.   The members of 13L are currently meeting with prospective members from across federal departments and agencies. To learn more about membership in 13L, please check out the Q&As for Prospective Members.
   
• Summer Quarterly Business Meeting.   Members of 13L plan to meet on July 19 to formulate plans for partnering with other good government organizations in carrying out the group's goal of promoting effective leadership in the federal government. More details to come.
   
• Speaking for 13L.   Member Jeffrey Vargas presented at this year's Federal Managers Association national convention in Arlington, Virginia, on March 27. Thanks to Jeffrey for his continued contributions.

• More Talk from 13L.   Members Scott Derrick and Kitty Wooley participated in an April 5 panel discussion about creating informal groups and networks at this year's Excellence in Government Conference. Scott represented 13L on the panel, and Kitty represented Senior Fellows & Friends.
