Speaking for 13L. Member Jeffrey Vargas will be presenting at this year's Federal Managers Association national convention in Arlington, Virginia, on March 27. Thanks to Jeffrey for his continued contributions.

More Talk from 13L. Members Scott Derrick and Kitty Wooley will participate in an April 5 panel discussion about creating informal groups and networks at this year's Excellence in Government Conference. Scott will be representing 13L on the panel, and Kitty will be representing Senior Fellows & Friends.
Spring Quarterly Business Meeting. Members and advisors of 13L plan to meet on April 12 to formulate plans for partnering with other good government organizations in carrying out the group's goal of promoting effective leadership in the federal government. Myra Shiplett of the National Academy of Public Administration will be the guest speaker at the quarterly meeting. Thanks to Myra for offering her time and insights!
