- Initial Members and New Advisor Announced ! 13L has announced initial members and a new advisor. Scott Derrick, Don Jacobson, and Jeffrey Vargas would like to welcome Glenn Sutton as the group's initial advisor.
- The initial members of 13L are currently meeting with prospective members from across federal agencies. To learn more about membership in 13L, check out the Q&As for Prospective Members.
- Member Scott Derrick's opinion piece on Power vs. Influence was published in the December 2005 issue of Government Executive magazine. Scott discusses the difference in the ways that leaders and managers sway people to achieve goals.
- Member Don Jacobson reports good response to the new forum feature on the GovLeaders.org website. Check out the discussion in the forum.
- Scott Derrick is the contributor to 13L's January Viewpoints column. He recounts his reasons for establishing 13L and calls on passionate and enthusiastic mid-career feds to join in the journey.
- Member Jeffrey Vargas begins his new role as the Deputy Director of Diversity and Outreach at the National Nuclear Security Administration. Congratulations Jeffrey!
