- Two New Members Announced ! 13L would like to welcome Mike O'Leary and Jeri Buchholz as new members of the leadership collective. Mike and Jeri now join current members Scott Derrick, Don Jacobson, and Jeffrey Vargas.
- The members of 13L would like to thank Glenn Sutton for stepping up to be the group's first advisor.

- Member Don Jacobson reports good response to the new forum feature on the GovLeaders.org website. Check out the discussion in the forum.
- Scott Derrick is the contributor to 13L's January Viewpoints column. He recounts his reasons for establishing 13L and calls on passionate and enthusiastic mid-career feds to join in the journey.
- Member Jeffrey Vargas has begun his new role as the Deputy Director of Diversity and Outreach at the National Nuclear Security Administration. Congratulations Jeffrey!
