Glenn Sutton  is a Principal Consultant with Federal Management Partners, Inc. in Alexandria, Virginia.  At FMP, Mr. Sutton brings a unique combination of human resource (HR) and technology expertise.  His recent consulting engagements have included strategic workforce planning, HR and compensation systems design, evaluation of personnel demonstration projects, and return-on-investment (ROI) assessment for a major agency's HR information systems modernization.

Mr. Sutton joined FMP after completing his government career as a senior human resources and information technology executive.  He served as Director of Personnel for the Voice of America and as Deputy Chief Information Officer at the Office of Personnel Management (OPM). He led the CIO Council's initial study of IT workforce issues, and recently co-authored "Technology and Human Resources," a chapter in Public Personnel Management: Current Concerns and Future Challenges (Third Edition, Addison Wesley Longman, 2002).

Mr. Sutton earned a Master’s degree in Business Administration from George Washington University.  He currently is the President-elect of the National Capital Area Chapter of the American Society for Public Administration.
